Plan your work and work your plan!
This adage can be valuable advice, but it's easy to fall into a trap of thinking that we can know every step that it takes to achieve our goal before we achieve it. Ironically, this detailed "roadmap" can be daunting enough to prevent us from taking action.
In today's episode, learn a simple method for developing an action habit.
Assignment: Smallest Possible Next Step
Identify one thing you can do immediately to bring you closer to your Vision.
If you want to be an author, maybe that's turning on your word-processing software, and set a timer for 5 minutes. You only get to do two things: a) sit there and do nothing for 5 minutes, or b) write.
If you want to get into a good workout routine, maybe it's just getting dressed for your workout, lifting your arms overhead (if you can), and getting a good stretch and a yawn. Change your clothes back to your normal attire and get on with your day.
Don't take this assignment lightly.
Begin building a foundation on practice, one brick at a time.
